Confessions of an Economic Hit Man

We will be reading the novel by John Perkins beginning Wednesday 3/21. I have assigned readings for each Wednesday until the end of the year. Some students may find it necessary to complete the readings outside of class but most of the work is designed to be completed in the time allotted. The purpose is to provide concrete examples of how US goals during the Cold War led to policies and actions to achieve those goals and there consequences.
